The CNY accent is a delightfully awful mix of NYC and Canadian. I miss hearing it and my accent slips back into it every now and then.

Also, what people don’t understand is that outside of Syracuse, Albany, Rochester, and Buffalo, there is nothing but farms and trees in Upstate. I can say this, because I grew up north of Syracuse.

Also Also: It’s pronounced “sarah-cuse”. Not “seer-acuse”.
