HOW CAN PEOPLE NOT LIKE BASEBALL I DO NOT UNDERSTAND THIS SHIT IS SO EXCITING
Does not compute. It’s like trying to divide by zero. I will judge you harshly.
I just. This sport.
Tonight was probably the most anxiety-inducing night in baseball, at least in my memory. 162 games a season. It’s flabbergasting to know that the most important of those was game 162. Eight teams, four games, two wildcard winners.
I still can’t believe the drama of the past few hours. It’s hard to believe that everyone thought it was going to be easy to decide who will take the two wildcards. Boston and Atlanta were the “sure wins”. Hell, Atlanta was supposed to win the NL East and Boston was supposed to win the whole damn thing, according to “experts” at ESPN. This is why I love baseball. You think you can predict it. Stats, feelings, whatever you use to measure the game….it fucks with you until the very end.
Tigers-Yankees Rays-Rangers Brewers-Diamondbacks Phillies-Cardinals.
I don’t think we’ll ever have a night like 28 September 2011. It comes once in a lifetime. I can’t wait for whatever surprises come our way in October.
